Plant Walk at Northern State Recreation Area (FREE)

  • Northern State Recreation Area 25625 Helmick Road Sedro-Woolley, WA, 98284 United States (map)

We will meet at the Northern State Recreation Area parking lot at 10am. We will learn all about the native and naturalized plants growing in a few different ecologies in the area. We'll cover identification and which plants are good for food, medicine, tools and attracting wildlife. We'll also look at patterns in the plant communities that can be used in our gardens at home. When you're able to mimic natural patterns, and work with nature instead of against her, your gardens will become more productive with significantly less work. You won't want to miss this walk. Best part about it, it's FREE!!

We ask that you please RSVP for the walk so we can anticipate who will be coming. You can RSVP by clicking here
