How often do you actually stop to look at specific birds, plants, trees or tracks when you are out on a weekend hike? The landscape tells a fascinating story and once you know who all of the characters are and how they're related to one another, you'll be forever humbled and changed.
Our naturalist walks take place all throughout northwestern Washington and typically occur once per month. These walks are a great way to get an introduction into some of the various topics that we teach here at Raven's Roots. The walks last 3-4 hours and cover mushrooms, birds, plants, trees and more along with the relationships between them all.
Please register before the walk so that the instructor can get a head count of attendees.
Upcoming Naturalist Walks:
June 25, 2017: Deception Pass State Park (Oak Harbor, WA). We'll be meeting at the Bowman Bay parking lot at 10am and the walk will last until 1pm. Register here.
